Hello Event Hosts!
TEAM Alliance is excited to introduce new planning resources and support designed to make hosting an event easier than ever. Whether you’re hosting your first Sphero event or you’re a returning Event Host, we’re here to help you create a fun and successful experience for students, Team Coordinators, and volunteers. If you’re planning to host an event this season, we encourage you to post it as soon as your date and venue are confirmed so teams can begin planning their competition schedules.
Event Host Support Packages
To help launch our inaugural competition season, TEAM Alliance and Sphero are offering Event Host Support Packages to approved Event Hosts. These packages include competition field equipment and awards at no cost, helping reduce startup costs.

Our comprehensive Event Host Guide walks you through the entire event planning process—from selecting a venue and recruiting volunteers to equipment, technology, and event-day operations. Every venue is different, but these sample layouts can help you visualize how to arrange competition fields, check-in, inspections, practice areas, audience seating, and volunteer stations. Stay organized from day one with our planning spreadsheet. Track important milestones, volunteer assignments, equipment needs, and other planning tasks in one convenient place as you prepare for your event.
Make a copy of the Event Host Planning Tool spreadsheet and customize it for your event. Tabs include: Event Budget, Event Agendas, Event Checklists and Event Layouts.

Now is the perfect time to begin planning your event. We’re already hearing from many Team Coordinators who are asking where events will be held this season so they can plan travel, budgets, and their competition calendars. Posting your event as early as possible helps teams make informed decisions, increases the visibility of your event, and gives you the best opportunity to attract participating teams.
