TEAM Alliance became a nonprofit in 2025. The events it runs have been going since 2020, and six seasons are already behind them.
It is the reasonable question, and it deserves the plain answer. The nonprofit is one year old. The competition is not. Students have been running these events for six seasons, and the totals above are what those seasons added up to before this organization existed on paper.
A school signing up this season is not joining an experiment. It is joining a season that has already run five times.
Four divisions, each on its own robot and its own game. A student who starts in the lower elementary division has somewhere to go for the next 13 years, and a school that starts one team has three more it can add without leaving the program.
Lower elementary, grades K-2. Screen-free coding with colour tiles.
Upper elementary, grades 3-5. Robot coding, decision making, and basic engineering.
Middle school, grades 6-8. Driving, engineering, coding, and sensor integration.
Middle & high school, grades 7-12. Design, build, code, and operate competition robots.
