Our Impact

TEAM Alliance became a nonprofit in 2025. The events it runs have been going since 2020, and six seasons are already behind them.

How big is this, really?

It is the reasonable question, and it deserves the plain answer. The nonprofit is one year old. The competition is not. Students have been running these events for six seasons, and the totals above are what those seasons added up to before this organization existed on paper.

A school signing up this season is not joining an experiment. It is joining a season that has already run five times.

"TEAM Alliance is a nonprofit that works with volunteers to put affordable, student-run robotics events within reach of any school or community group. The organization was founded in 2025, but the programs it runs have been going since 2020, six seasons of events already behind them."

One program, kindergarten to graduation

Four divisions, each on its own robot and its own game. A student who starts in the lower elementary division has somewhere to go for the next 13 years, and a school that starts one team has three more it can add without leaving the program.

Voices By Their Role

The people closest to the program, from the teachers who coach the teams to the Event Hosts who run the day.

"I kept waiting for the part where I would need to know something about robotics. It never came. The fields arrived, the volunteer guide told me where to stand, and by ten in the morning the students were running the room."

"We love competing in the Sphero competition. It allows my robotics students to apply their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a fun way. They enjoy seeing how they can make Sphero BOLT come to life and complete the challenges. I love seeing them work together and be innovative! Sphero Rocks!"
Michael Spurlock
Team Coordinator | G/T Teacher | Arlington, TX
"Our first run knocked the tile over every single time. We changed one turn and it worked, so then we changed it again to go faster."
Student
U9 Division | Age 7
"She started explaining her code at dinner. Not the robot, the code. That is new."
