What Does the Grant Include?

Each approved SRC Matching Team Grant applies to the following eligible package:

• 2 × Sphero Robotics Competition BPR Kits
• SKU: 760-0947
• Total package value: $2,598
• TEAM Alliance grant support: $1,299
• Team balance: $1,299

Ground shipping is covered for the Sphero Robotics Competition BPR Kits orders only. 

Expedited shipping or shipping for additional equipment is an additional cost.

The grant is available specifically for the eligible SRC Competition BPR Kits listed above and cannot be applied to classroom kits, other SKUs, or general Sphero purchases.

Multiple grants may be awarded within the same organization when each grant is tied to a separate registered SRC team.

Who Is Eligible?

To qualify for an SRC Matching Team Grant:

• Each grant must be tied to a paid or PO-processing 26–27 SRC Team Registration.
• The team must attend an In-Person or Live Remote Qualifying Event during both the 26–27 and 27–28 SRC seasons.
• The Team Coordinator and students must complete requested end-of-season surveys.

As part of the end-of-season survey, grant recipients will be asked to provide:

• A team photo.
• Student anecdotes about how the robotics equipment was used.
• Student feedback about their experience participating in an SRC event.

Teams are also encouraged to share their SRC experience through a blog or social media post and tag TEAM Alliance and Sphero.

Important: The SRC Matching Team Grant is intended to support teams participating in SRC for both competition seasons.
If a grant recipient is unable to compete in both the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 seasons, the granted equipment must be returned.

How Do I Apply?

Step 1: Register Your SRC Team

Complete your team’s 26–27 SRC Team Registration through myTEAMevents.org.

Before the grant can be approved, the registration must either be paid in full or have a Purchase Order in process.

Step 2: Apply for the Grant

Once your team registration reaches eligible status, the Team Coordinator can complete the SRC Matching Team Grant Application:

Step 3: Receive Your Grant Redemption Code

TEAM Alliance will verify your team’s registration status
and confirm that the team meets the grant eligibility requirements.

Approved Team Coordinators will receive a grant redemption code 
from TEAM Alliance along with instructions for placing their order.

Step 4: Order Your SRC Competition Kits

Once approved, visit Sphero.com and create an order.

For each approved SRC Matching Team Grant:

1. Add two Sphero Robotics Competition BPR Kits (SKU 760-0947) to your cart.

2. Enter the grant redemption code provided by TEAM Alliance.

3. Complete your purchase using a credit card.
